Terms of Service
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of BuiltForShops websites and services, including exclusive local leads at builtforshops.com/leads/. Contact: [email protected]. Business location: Mantua, NJ. By signing up or using our services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The service
BuiltForShops offers exclusive local homeowner leads for trade shops (and related site / Host & Handle / automation services described on our site). Exclusive leads means we aim to send each qualified lead in your selected area × trade to you only — not a shared marketplace dump. We do not guarantee call volume, close rate, rankings, or revenue.
2. Pay-per-lead pricing
- $127 per exclusive lead on delivery. You are charged when we deliver a lead to the email and/or phone you provide at signup.
- $1 card verification at signup. We charge $1 today to verify your payment method via Stripe. That is not a subscription.
- After verification, $127 is charged only when a lead is delivered — not for idle time and not as a monthly plan.
- Not a subscription. No long contract. No free leads on this program.
- Payments are processed by Stripe. You authorize us to charge the saved payment method for delivered leads under these Terms.
3. Area, exclusivity, and volume
- You set home town, drive distance, weekly lead cap, and job types you accept.
- We generally place one shop per area × trade. Availability depends on inventory and prior signups.
- We do not promise a minimum number of leads. Cap and pause controls are yours.
4. Pause anytime
You may pause anytime. When you pause (or hit your weekly cap, or stop answering leads), we pause related ads for your area as soon as practical. Ghosting / not answering leads may cause us to pause inventory so homeowners are not stranded.
5. Lead quality and credits
- Each lead typically includes homeowner name, phone, service address, job type, and notes (when provided).
- Bad, fake, or clear duplicate? Flag within 48 hours of delivery. We will review and credit valid claims.
- Credits are not owed for leads you ignore, fail to call promptly, or that simply do not close — homeowner intent and outcomes vary.
6. SMS consent — lead notifications
By checking the SMS consent box on the leads signup form and providing a delivery phone number, you expressly agree to receive transactional lead-delivery text messages from BuiltForShops at that number when leads are delivered.
- Messages include lead details so you can contact the homeowner quickly.
- Texts may come from +1 (833) 385-1585 (or another number we designate).
- Message frequency varies with lead volume and your cap.
- Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP to opt out of SMS; reply HELP for help; or email [email protected].
- We do not sell your phone number. See our Privacy Policy — SMS section.
- Consent to SMS is separate from agreeing to pay-per-lead commercial terms.
7. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate shop, area, and contact information.
- Answer leads promptly and treat homeowners professionally and lawfully.
- Comply with all applicable telemarketing, privacy, and licensing rules for your trade and state.
- Do not resell or share exclusive leads with competing shops.
8. Other services
Site builds, Host & Handle, and automation may have separate scopes and pricing shown at purchase. These lead Terms apply specifically to the exclusive pay-per-lead program unless a written agreement says otherwise.
9. Disclaimers
Services are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted service, specific lead counts, or business results. Advertising platforms (e.g. Meta) may change delivery, pricing, or availability outside our control.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BuiltForShops’s total liability arising from the exclusive leads program is limited to the amounts you paid us for leads in the three (3) months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
